We have movement!!

I know it shouldn't be a big deal BUT, Guiliana not only scoots and turns in complete circles she now can get onto her tummy from a sitting position! Its a big deal to us because it seems like forever that she has been a scooter. She did it today at school with Grandma and tonight with us after her bath time. I'm sure its just the start to much, much, more activity. We shall see where she goes from here. I'm sorry... I just have to document everything!! I'm so proud of my little gal!!

Thank goodness for Detangler!!!

I just had to share with you Guiliana's hairstyle that she was sporting when she woke up this morning. All I have to say is thank goodness for detangler!! She also found it rather amusing!!

HAPPY 60TH BIRTHDAY!!!

Today was Frank's (Grandpa Tortora) 60th Birthday!! He would not allow us to throw him a party, all he wanted to do was have a nice dinner with his family. It really was a great idea! We went to:

It was YUMMY! Greg and I had never been there and we really enjoyed it!! Guiliana and I spent most of the morning making Grandpa a gift:

Last night we went to Isabella Hoover's Baptism and I couldn't resist, I HAD to take pictures of Guiliana in her dress! One of the cutest dresses I have ever seen!!

So when I tell you that last night was only our 2nd time leaving the baby and she is 10 months, its okay... you can call us pathetic, because we are!! The problem is, is that Greg and I work Mon-Fri 8-5 and the weekends are really the only time we can spend quality time with our daughter, so we tend not to leave her. But recently we have been needing some much deserved time alone and it just so happens last night we had the chance!! Not only was yesterday out 11 year anniversary (being together) but, we celebrated 2 of our best friends birthdays. Eric is turning 33 on Feb 9th and Chris is turning the big 30 on Feb 11. So, last night we had dinner at BJ's and played games and had drinks at Dave and Busters. Grandma and Grandpa Tortora came over last night to babysit and it being Guiliana's first evening of not having one of her parents put her to bed, went very well! I didn't worry about her once because I knew that she was in such great hands. We had a super fun last night!!! Can't wait till our next date night our which will be in March for my birthday and our 5 year Wedding anniversary!!

Today on our walk around the neighborhood, I put Guiliana's new sunglasses on that Grandma bought her. She surprisingly kept them on for the whole walk, with the exception of taking them off and letting me put them back on.

10 MONTHS OLD TODAY!!

I can't believe that 8 weeks from today our baby girl will be turning 1 year old!!
I know that I have been blogging alot lately about the new things that she is doing but it seems at this age, every day she is doing something new! Just in the last week she has started saying "mamma", and now its not when she is upset, she is saying it at anytime, which just makes my heart melt! Daddy has taught her "up" and down". Anytime she is sitting or is on her stomache she will turn completly in a circle... its actually pretty funny!! She still wants to stand all the time but can't on her own yet. Her love for food continues to grow as she trys new things all the time. I have to say though... she made it to 9 1/2 months before her very first fever which was about 2 weeks ago! I really can't believe that she has made it long! As of last night, her top two teeth have popped thru, so now we offically have 4 teeth!
