Valentine's Day 2010

We started by celebrating Valentine's day on Friday. Guiliana had a party at school with her friends. She brought apples and yogurt to share with her friends as well as M&M's. Her and I also made Tinkerbell Valentine's to give out at her party. Guiliana came home with a bunch of little goodies as well as a little bit of a sugar rush!!! Saturday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Tortora's house to celebrate Valentine's day as well as Grandpa's birthday (2/15) Guiliana colored him a picture and we made him Chocolate Oreo brownies (we always make brownies for Grandpa as they are his favorites!) Grandma had a lot of little Valentine's gifts for Gules and a gift that her and Grandma made together for me. It was a nice family afternoon.
This morning started off with Guiliana giving Daddy his gift. She got him a Reeses Valentine heart and I gave him a pair of boxers that had the word LOVE all over them. Then I made them Cinnamon french toast, eggs, and coffee. Over the past few days I had made fun-fetti heart shaped cakes with pink frosting & sprinkles and heart shaped banana muffins to go along with the occasion. We hung around today and had a nice family day full of love and way too many sweets!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
