A day at the Railroad Park

Today Greg, Guiliana, and I were invited to the railroad park to celebrate our good friend Steve's 30th Birthday. While daddy played football with the guys, Guiliana, Isabella, Michally, and I all sat under a tree playing and eating yummy food. Later on we all road the train and the carousel and Eric and I of course had to get some ice cream. The weather was absolutely perfect, we couldn't have asked for a better day!! It was a great way to spend a Sunday :)

Little Red Riding Hood...

Yesterday Guiliana and I went to out friend Cynthia's son's 2nd birthday party. His party them was Cars, so we thought wearing red would be fun since that is the color of Lightening Mcqueen. Just wanted to take some pics because I thought she looked so cute.

Yes but of course... another project!!

Since we moved into our house 2 1/2 yrs ago, I only managed to paint our second bathroom upstairs but never really "decorated" it. I chose the color because I love yellow and appropriately it was called "Tuscan Yellow" (and for those of you who have seen my house know my love for Tuscan Decor). Well, with my dad coming into town for Guiliana's birthday next weekend, I thought I would get my but in gear and give my daughter the bathroom she deserves :) I did this last night when she was in bed. When I showed it to her this morning she looked at me and giggled and then of course wanted to touch the shower curtain. That response alone was worth it!! Here is what made my baby girl smile...

It was a great 29th Birthday!!

Well, my birthday really started last week when Greg gave me my birthday present early (it was delivered and NO, I couldn't wait). He got me a new camera!! A pink Sony Cybershot. As you can tell by the looks of my blog that I am a picture fanatic and our other camera was a bit outdated.
Yesterday was my actual birthday. My great day started right when I woke up. Guiliana was still sleeping so I got to get ready w/o any interuptions :)There was a card waiting for me downstairs from Daddy and Guiliana that played music and of course it made me cry!
When I dropped off Guiliana at school I got a front row parking spot (that NEVER happens). My mother-in-law who works at her school had left a few gifts for me on her cubby. A balloon, card, flowers, and a handmade gift (the best gift ever might I add!!) It was a huge sunflower made out of construction paper with Guiliana's face in the middle. Then I got to work and my girls in my department bought me a dozen yellow roses and a gift certificate to NY & Company (and boy do I need some new clothes!!) I also got several cards. Then my favorite doctor friend (who also helped bring the most beautiful girl into the world and to whom I am forever grateful to) got me the best gift ever!! A coach purse along with scrapbooking stuff (she made me a scrapbook fanatic!! its almost like she is my dealer! LOl) Then, Michally took me out for lunch and we had my favorite, SUSHI!! The rest of the afternoon went very well. Good day at work too - After we got home Greg brought me a slice of cake (as I am still really watching my weight). Later one of our best friends Chris stopped by to deliver yet another gift from Coach. It was a beautiful brown leather key chain.
It just seemed as if yesterday was meant just for me. I really had one of the best birthdays. It is right up there along with seeing Celine Dion in Vegas for my 26th.

Date Night...

So tonight Greg and I celebrated both my 29th birthday (which is this wed the 25th) and our 5 year wedding anniversary (which was last Thurs the 19th) We went to dinner at The Yard House and then walked around the Marriott at Desert Ridge, The weather tonight was BEAUTIFUL!! Dinner was delicious and we even had some drinks :)I just want to thank Grandma and Grandpa for watching Guiliana and Brooklyn for us. Brooklyn always enjoys when Grandpa comes over because he takes her on a ton of walks! We are so lucky to have them so we can have "date nights" once in a while :)
